Abstract. The school occupation, a practice which occurs in educational activities formal and non-formal, evidenced historically by the fight for school by working classes, with notoriety in the MST action - Landless Workers' Movement - and also from student movement, and, in the recent events of public school students, taking his school space, it appears as a category of analysis of the educational field in its entirety. So the political, collective, socio-cultural and educational school occupation will be exposed. It is noted that the school occupation contains elements that support them as pedagogy, a category of analysis of educational practice, both as a social movement, as, in potential terms, the Brazilian public school system.

Abstract. The study assessed the effect of the Treasury Single Account (TSA) policy of the Federal Government of Nigeria based on whether the policy has ensured cash availability to meet Government expenditure and whether also the policy has in any way promoted efficiency in the management of national debt. Secondary data on Federal Government Revenue, Spending, and Borrowing were sourced from the Central Bank of Nigeria's Statistical bulletin and Debt Management Office quarterly reports. Chow test was deployed to test the formulated hypothesis. Findings showed that the implementation of TSA has achieved the objective of ensuring cash availability for government expenditure programmes. The implication of this is that government cash resources have increased and there are now more funds available for Government to carry out its various responsibilities towards improving the quality of life of citizens. It was also found that the TSA policy of the government has some impact on the nation's debt profile. The study is considered very important as it reveals to the government how the TSA policy is capable of blocking revenue leakages and promoting the availability of government cash resources. The study has contributed to the existing literature by showing that TSA has a significant impact on the availability of cash resources to the government. In practice, it has been shown that bringing the cash resources into one basket and eliminating multiple bank accounts enables the government to see the total resources at a glance, which helps it to decide whether to borrow or not.

Abstract. The encouragement program of MSMEs to remain competitive in the era of disruption to society 5.0, all technology, and sustainability emphasizes the relevance of business model innovation as the primary basis in managing and improving business competitiveness capabilities. This study explores the "Rambo" MSMEs survival strategy in the 5.0 society disruption era. This type of research is exploratory qualitative research, with the respondents being digital MSMEs enterprises under the assistance of the government through the Cooperatives and MSMEs Service. Data collection techniques use in-depth interviews and non-probability sampling (purposive sampling) following predetermined criteria. The analysis was carried out through data triangulation (data reduction, data presentation, and summarization). Results suggest three substantive conclusions 1) long-term managerial orientation is a key factor in developing a business model in MSMEs, 2) five business model capabilities support, in combination with the management approach, the business model development in established MSMEs, 3) open innovation is a concrete precondition of business model innovation. Therefore, the MSMEs owner needs both to actively consider their management approach towards the business model and develop some key dynamic capabilities in their organizations to implement the business model, an approach also valid for post-Covid-19 management.

Abstract. The existence of vibrant, effective, and functional institutions is the backbone for the realization of development aspirations and prosperity of societies. Nevertheless, most developing countries institutions lack the required capacity to effectively discharge their vested responsibilities. This ultimately hinders the nations development. This article is aimed at pinpointing the major challenges affecting the capacity of institutions and deterring effective service delivery and thereby suggesting the way forward. To this end, different theoretical and empirical works conducted on the Ethiopian context were reviewed. The review results illustrate employees' incompetence and imbalance at different levels of government agencies in budgetary allocation and distribution which in turn is affecting the degree of transparency, accountability, and responsiveness. Besides, the review also identified the existence of serious gap in making public institutions responsive to the demands of the citizenry. Aimed at establishing vibrant and effective institutions, the authors among others, suggested building linkage, good relationship, and synergy among different public and private organizations. Furthermore, considering human capital development as a cornerstone for institutional capacity building, it requires providing demand-driven and quality-oriented practical training for land sector employees and stakeholders to bridge the existing capacity deficit.

Moreover, we want to join the positions that persuasion is a component of communication, an imponderable shaper of everyday life. A necessary clarification is that persuasion is differentiated from manipulation by the simple fact that the person being persuaded realizes that the message is constructed and conveyed to influence them, differentiating persuasion not only from manipulation, but also from advertising.

Abstract. Most Indonesian students encounter difficulties when solving high-order thinking skills (HOTS) type of mathematics problems which require students to analyze and synthesize prior knowledge and relate it to new situations. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of problem-based learning (PBL) in solving HOTS mathematics problems among high school students. We also examined whether students' level of motivation influence the ability of problem-solving skill as well as any interaction between learning models and study motivation on HOTS math type. A class intervention was conducted in one private Madrasa (Islamic High School) Mojokerto, Indonesia. A total of 59 students were divided into the intervention (PBL, n=29) and control (conventional learning, n=30) groups. Both groups had a similar topic on the linear system with three variables. The lessons were delivered by the same teacher twice a week, with a duration of 90 minutes per session within three weeks for each group. A two-way analysis of variance was performed to evaluate the data with the independent variables consisting of two models (PBL and non-PBL) and three levels of motivation (low, medium, and high).

Abstract. This exploratory literature review study explored the resilience of street children during COVID-19. The paper applied a narrative, exploratory literature review methodology and consulted academic and non-academic sources to extract data relevant to answering the research questions. Findings indicate that the pandemic added another layer of challenges that negatively affected the welfare of street children. Additionally, results reveal that no specially targeted COVID-19 interventions were implemented to cater to street children's needs. Thus, they had to survive by exploiting their resilient attributes. In light of these findings, it is argued that street children's resilience enables them to survive difficult periods. Furthermore, the paper highlights the shortsightedness of the COVID-19 intervention in overlooking the needs of specific populations with unique needs. Lastly, the paper recommends that for future pandemics like COVID-19, specific measures are required to cater to street children's economic and public health needs.

Abstract. Studied in different learning contexts, metacognition, defined as thinking and reflecting on one's cognitive processes, favours academic success and lifelong learning performance. Although there is a wealth of information on the development of metacognition in pupils and students, research on adults' metacognitive awareness, how to support it, or the role it can play in their professional development are limited. The article comprehensively analyses the concept of metacognition and metacognitive models. Thus, we carried out a review of the models that highlight the structural elements of metacognition, in order to optimize the processes of monitoring understanding and those of control, of self-regulation of the teaching career management. The study aims to facilitate the process of understanding the concept of metacognition, how conceptual meanings have evolved and generated models based on structural elements, through the interaction of which professional development is facilitated. The comprehensive approach to metacognition represents the vision underlying the development of the study, which generates future principles and guidelines for the design of a professional development programme, centred on the metacognitive development of teachers.

Abstract. The article is philosophical in nature, arguing that the praxis of RLP as a pedagogical method is consistent with Basil Bernstein's philosophy. It departs from the premise that the RLP and pedagogical practice (visible and invisible) are inseparable. The RLP is philosophically supported by types of symbolic control as regulators of cultural reproduction and change. COVID-19 has had an extraordinary influence on educational institutions, and for teaching and learning to continue, schools have had to implement Remote Learning Practices (RLPs). RLPs at the pre-primary level are heavily impacted by the milieu in which the school is located. The implementation of RLPs had its obstacles; it introduced a whole new educational framework, which revealed new problems. These difficulties must be unpacked and analysed to be comprehended. The basic assumption of this article is that the idea of RLP may be unpacked, analysed, and recreated via the lens of Basil Bernstein's categorization and framing framework. The concepts of categorization and framing are relevant for analysing transmitting agencies.

Abstract. Metaverse or WEB 3.0 is the environment that combines elements of virtual reality, augmented reality or simply the future of the internet. The Metaverse is currently under development worldwide. It was Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg who first signaled that this is the next stage of the internet, but he is not the only one involved in building the Metaverse. Silicon Valley IT giants didn't want to miss out this opportunity and are already investing huge sums to secure their place at the forefront of the development of this new medium. Experts say this new universe will make its mark, influence and change almost every industry. In this context, we expect one of the big changes to be felt by journalists and the media industry as a whole. We are already seeing the first steps towards immersive journalism, with journalists working in large global media organizations already using virtual and augmented reality to explain better certain stories and to attract a wider readership. This article will provide a theoretical analysis of the impact that Metaverse can have on the media industry, taking into account the technological steps currently being taken in this direction.

Abstract. University is an authorized high-level institution whereby learners transition to a new system of teaching facilities and academic research that is exclusively divergent from that of the secondary school level. This distinctiveness makes undergraduate students confused about how to meet the requirements of different modules, but most importantly, how to face the university/college challenges. Thereby, this work assesses the extent to which students at university have fear of failure. Our quantitative investigation is designed, mainly, to provide a concrete picture about how compulsory it is to understand the psyche of learners before final evaluation. To reach the aim of the work, we designed a survey for fifty four students in the Department of English at Mostaganem University. The results exhibit an accumulation of factors affecting learners at this level, mainly, the presence of fear of failure due to the learners' unfamiliarity with the criteria of assessment, the teachers' unawareness of addressing failure and in dealing with new bachelors who come with diverse profiles, learning needs and interests, besides homesickness and room-mate relationships.

Abstract. Work is a defining activity for individuals and also a major preoccupation for organizations, stake holders, governments and states. The actual global world is confronted with alert changes, introduction of new, smart technologies that can ease the work for some employees, facilitate access to many products for large categories of population, but can also scare some others because they may fear losing their jobs. Besides individuals, organizations are also confronted with such transformations, trying to keep up with the competition, preparing, motivating and retaining their human resources. Given the actual global context, defined as a rapid changing one, faced with unexpected events, like the spread of coronavirus or significant migratory flows, this paper sets to explore the transformations regarding the work domain, their challenging impact on career construction and the contribution of career counseling theories in mitigating such aspects.

Abstract. The object of this article is to proffer a critical contribution into discourses about social exclusion, which has a bearing on socio-economic development, but with specific focus on the concept of social exclusivity from a perspective of class struggle and social identity. At the center of attention, the article attempts to advance an insightful elucidation of the realities besieging South Africa's segment of the previously disadvantaged groups, the so-called 'educated middle-class'. The middle-class often manifest with delusional thoughts, who owing to lack of ideological intelligibility, find themselves at odds with harsh capitalist realities, and are instead fighting to be integrated into a highly globalized, but not native friendly system which is an imperial heritage largely characterised by socio-economic deprivations and arrangements that entrench the continued material disadvantage of the majority, the lumpen-proletariat, the 'less-educated lower-class'. It is asserted that social exclusivity, which manifest through forced social integration and preservation of exclusive social status, contributes immensely to South Africa's social instabilities, especially because it accepts that inequalities and socio-economic deprivations must be accepted as part and parcel of choices in human development. Further, that although this phenomenon appear to be modern in form, it actually originates from the past, and inherently perpetuates social arrangements established prior and during apartheid.

Abstract. Leaders, policymakers, and academics who apply to execute sustainable development policies and other activities within their organizations are known as sustainability leadership. It includes techniques, strategies, and systemic solutions for dealing with problems and driving institutional policies towards a sustainable structured organization. Universities play a crucial role in fostering sustainable development. However, at the university level, there is a lack of study on sustainable leadership. This study examined the notion of sustainable leadership using literature and empirical evidence. This study aimed to understand the featured characteristics of sustainable leaders in Thai universities and the major difficulties they encountered. Based on a purposive sampling strategy, an online questionnaire survey of fifty leaders from eight universities in Thailand was used in the research study. The data were collected and analyzed by using descriptive statistics. The respondents defined their leadership styles and typical qualities. In terms of competencies, respondents chose the capacity to innovate, think long- term, and handle complexity from a pre-defined list of alternatives. Besides, interdisciplinarity and understanding of organizational contexts, global concerns, and dilemmas were identified. Investments in education for sustainable development (ESD), sustainable procurement, and sustainable reporting were also addressed. Some of the difficulties in adopting sustainable leadership included a lack of enthusiasm, knowledge, tools, and resources. The findings could shed the light on sets of metrics that were developed and they will be implemented in the future to help leaders of universities streamline their performances of sustainability.

Abstract. With the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic and rapid technological growth, electronic learning has become a ubiquitous lever on service delivery in higher education. The purpose of the study was to determine the impact of perceived e-learning service quality on student satisfaction in Zimbabwean public universities. The study adopted the causal research design embedded in the positivism research philosophy. Four e-learning public universities were selected for data collection using a stratified sampling method. Findings from 321 valid responses through multiple regression analysis revealed positive relationships between e-learning quality factors (system quality, information quality and support service quality) and student satisfaction. The study validated the DeLone and McLean (2003) model to emphasise the significance of system quality, information quality and support service quality as the key antecedents of student satisfaction. Universities were urged to ensure robustness in their e-learning systems as well as regularly assessing student perceptions of their services as a way to facilitate the design of a customer centric service.

Abstract. The XXI century has brought along the increase of problems and security threats with which the international society must constantly fight. The beginning of the 21-st century can be considered a reference point in the development of the terrorist phenomenon. 11th of September 2001 was the date when the international community defined its priorities and came together against this phenomenon, which remains an important topic, directly proportional to the vulnerabilities of modern society. It presents itself as a complex phenomenon, with very violent manifestations against targets that usually cannot defend themselves. The increasing development of technology and the widespread use of mass media ensure the longevity of the terrorist phenomenon, which will become an increasing challenge in the future. 9/11 was the clear evidence of the ability to use the information system to achieve strategic objectives. Nowadays, technology and information are much more developed and more accessible than two decades ago. Mass media is the most active agent of spreading disinformation, propaganda and terrorist manipulation.

Abstract. This paper examines the differentiated application of the right to privacy concerning private citizens, public figures, and civil servants within contemporary legal and journalistic contexts. Synthesizing existing scholarship and case law primarily from the United States and Europe (including ECHR jurisprudence), it analyzes the patterns and contradictions inherent in balancing privacy expectations against the principles of free expression and the public's right to know. While private individuals generally retain robust privacy protections, public figures and officials experience diminished expectations, particularly when their actions intersect with legitimate public interest. However, the analysis reveals inconsistencies in defining "public interest" and the adequacy of protections against unwarranted intrusion, especially in the digital age. Key case studies illustrate the divergent approaches, highlighting the U.S. emphasis on newsworthiness versus the European focus on proportionality and human dignity. The paper identifies gaps in addressing the privacy challenges posed by technology and globalization, concluding that while legal frameworks vary, the concept of justifiable public interest remains a central, albeit contested, arbiter in mediating the tension between privacy and transparency. Ethical considerations in journalism often provide a crucial, though non-binding, layer of restraint.

Abstract. This study represents an implementation of neutrosophy in the field of verbal communication (discourse). The methods used include meta-analytical, comparative, and inductive techniques. In relation to the neutrosophic criterion (F. Smarandache), as well as to the way of thinking (Vattimo G & Rovatti P-A, 1998), we can distinguish two types of discourse: the ceremonial and the impositive discourse. In Gianni Vattimo's opinion (1998), there are two types of thinking: weak and strong thinking (weak and strong thought). The ceremonial discourse is based on weak thinking, and it has a high neutrosophic coefficient. The impositive discourse lies on strong thought and contains a low neutrosophic coefficient; this type of discourse embodies two forms: argumentation (the reasoning) and the demonstration. Starting from different directions, both types of discourse come close to the validation of knowledge, more precisely to what is true and what is false. This study puts forward the fact that the evidence, the demonstration, and the argumentation stand for discoursive aids that can consolidate a space of the critical opinion and of the neutrosophic incertitude or a space of silence, according to the degree of eligibility and imposition.
